A family-run business, Café La Strada has been popular with Frome locals and visitors for over 20 years. Offering ‘illy‘ speciality coffee, along with a wide selection of other hot and cold drinks, including delicious milkshakes made with La Strada’s very own homemade ice cream. NOOK

NOOK is an Australian juice and bowl bar serving cold press juices, smoothies, breakfast and Hawaiian poke bowls and vegan sweet treats. They also offer batch brew and cold brew coffee, as well as a selection of whole leaf teas. NOOK’s menu is 100% gluten free and 80% vegan (apart from their range of proteins) and their produce is organic, local and ethically sourced where possible.

The Old Bake House

As well as unique and wonderful celebratory cakes, they also bake ordinary cakes, pastries and various breads. They freshly bake all breads daily. These range from the traditional white and wholemeal to rustic flavours such as cottage cheese and dill, sun dried tomato, olive, apple, cinnamon and sultana. The selection varies on the whim of the baker. This means you can always be assured of a surprise!

The menu is focused on seasonality and sustainable farming methods, sourcing vegetables from their own walled gardens and the finest Somerset producers. They bake a range of sourdough breads daily using freshly milled flour and make all of the soft drinks and ice creams themselves.

The Ship

Coop Kitchen’s food is inspired by street food trucks which make international cuisine accessible and affordable, designed to be eaten with hands rather than knives and forks.
