The Children’s Festival is a free community event organised by Frome charity Purple Elephant, offering around 30+ different activities for children and families to enjoy. Held at the Cheese and Grain through to Welshmill Park, it includes activities such as forest school, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, sports, fun science, theatre, sensory tent and much more. To make sure that it is truly accessible, they don’t have stalls selling things (other than food and drink) and they work hard to make sure that as many activities as possible are suitable for children with additional needs.
