Energy Exchange: Regenerative Gardens

42 Acres is a wellbeing retreat, regenerative farm and nature reserve. Our vision is to reconnect with nature, self and others. Our regenerative “Soil-to-Gut” philosophy continues the traditions of the past and supports our shared future. We grow, forage and wild-tend in ways that serve the health of people and the planet. We believe that as we nourish the soil, we nourish ourselves.

This energy exchange is an invitation to spend the day working with our team both in our regenerative market garden and our 100% edible ornamental garden. Learn new skills whilst actively contributing to our permaculture projects.

The day is designed to be an enriching experience working with us on tasks ranging from planting bulbs to foraging wild teas, from hugelkultur to sowing wildflowers. There will be an opportunity for meditation, sharing and nature connection.

You’re welcome to stay and explore our land afterwards – take a wild dip in our lake, discover our secret treehouse or Badger Metropolis!

Important Info to Note

• Gloves and wellies/good boots are necessary
• Please bring a packed lunch as land work is hungry work!
• Foraged teas and fire-side snacks will be provided.
• If you’re not able-bodied or have issues with mobility please let us know before signing up, we will do our best to accommodate you if we can.
• These are working exchanges so please be prepared for this and arrive promptly. We kindly invite you to come for the whole day to get the most out of the experience and cultivate good connections within the group.
• No experience needed, just a can-do attitude!
