1-Day Vocal Workshop with Jane Harris

Always  a popular workshop, we are delighted to welcome back Jane Harris to lead a day of singing in 4-part harmony, where you will be given the perfect opportunity to Lift Up Your Voice.

Jane is an experienced choir leader and Director of Songways  based in Bath. She has a lively, clear and enabling teaching style, uncovering the best in singers’ voices and drawing people together with heartfelt, resonant singing. Jane teaches by ear and loves to explore songs in different ways to enrich and deepen the singing experience. Jane brings a rich variety of songs including uplifting harmonies, songs of stillness and beauty, evocative folk songs led with the fiddle, vibrant South African choruses, and her own compositions, often inspired by the natural world.
Jane leads the three thriving Songways choirs (Bath and Bradford on Avon) and singing days in wonderful venues such as Wells Cathedral, Iford Manor, the Great Oak Hall at Westonbirt Arboretum and of course, Cooper Hall. Jane also leads inspiring and rewarding residential singing events including Sing the Cambridge Colleges in April and singing holidays in Italy and on Lundy island in July.
