Hatha Yoga Classes with Kalindi Yoga

An event every week that begins at 7:00pm on Monday, repeating until 25th Apr 2016


Hatha Yoga is a traditional form of yoga where we hold the postures for longer to find a sense of stillness in the body and mind.

The Monday evening class is suitable for students of all abilities. Beginners are very welcome to join this class. (Every Monday throughout the year)

We begin the class with Sanskrit chanting and Pranayama (breathing practices) before we move on to the Sun Salutations to warm up the body. We then move through a sequence of postures designed to bring a sense of relaxation to both the body and mind. This class is perfect for those who want to begin their week with a steady and focused mind. The class is designed to release tensions within the body as when our body is free, the mind can also be free and flowing. There is also a lovely, long relaxation at the end!

Mats and blocks are provided but you may wish to bring a blanket for the final relaxation at the end of the class!
