Cheese & Grain announce 2021 line-up

2020 has been a year of silence for music venues up and down the country, and even though doors aren’t ready to open yet, Frome’s favourite, The Cheese and Grain is planning to come back stronger than ever in 2021.

The venue has just announced 21 shows for 2021 including Kosheen (live), Scott Mills (DJ Set), Levellers, Arrested Development, Hang Massive, Craig Charles, Goldie Lookin’ Chain, Electric Swing Circus, Ferocious Dog, Dave Pearce (DJ Set), The Sweet, From The Specials (Neville Staple Band) and more. The full list of events can be found on their website.

Even though there’s a little time before these shows, booking tickets in advance massively supports the venue, not just financially during this incredibly difficult time for the live events sector, but also helps them secure more great artists to perform in the future.

As a not-for-profit social enterprise and proudly independent venue, the Cheese and Grain normally receives no government funding, but has been able to bring to Frome some of the world’s biggest musical acts such as Foo Fighters, Fat Boy Slim, Frank Turner, Biffy Clyro, Robert Plant, The Selecter, Beth Orton, Grandmaster Flash, Public Image LTD, Toots & The Maytals.

The venue has been able to survive the crisis thanks to customers hanging on to tickets for rescheduled shows and making generous donations.  Buying tickets is the best thing you can do to continue to support the venue and with Christmas not far away, why not treat a loved one or friend to something they can really look forward to in 2021.
