What’s on in Frome for International Women’s Day
This year’s theme for International Women’s Day, on 8th March, is “Inspire Inclusion”, helping to forge a better, more inclusive world for women. We’ve put together a selection of fantastic events that are happening in and around Frome to celebrate the cause. We know we’re a little early, but this will give you plenty of time to put the dates in your diaries and spread the word!
Join Dr Samantha Hiew, multi-award-winning storyteller, scientist and social entrepreneur as she explores the collective experience of what it means to be a woman in this world. This talk will highlight the lives that women have endured to spark self-acceptance, compassion and love, empowering you with individualised ways of moving forward that work for you.
Head along to the Cheese and Grain on 5th March at 7pm – tickets are £16 or £20 on the door. Book your ADHD and Women talk tickets online.
If you would like to share your ideas on the night, in a 5-minute Lightning Talk, please sign up using this form.
Come to the Cheese and Grain on 6th March, 7:30pm for an 8pm start. This event is free to attend. More information on the event here.
