Frome’s International Climate Film Festival and Fringe

Frome International Climate Film Festival is the world’s first and only dedicated free film festival to promote and to support positive climate and environmental films.

Fringe Event Programme:

  • 26th April: Wild-Hearted Vegan : Mandy Griffiths (Wardrobe Collective/XR) introduces the film Rowdy Girl about a Texan beef farmer turned vegan.
  • 3rd May: Making A Film : filmmakers Charly le Marchant (Wood for the Trees series) and animator Tem Gunawardena (The Field and The Gaia Foundation) talk about the process of making a film, from idea to broadcast.
  • 10th May: Screening of Wonders of the Celtic Deep Ep4 by One Tribe TV – Dale Templar Founder MD with Q&A.

The inspiring Frome International Climate Film Festival will be held this year on the 19th May in the Cheese and Grain, starting at 09:00 and running through to 23:30.  The day is FREE but donations are welcome.

The day starts with children, family and community activities including:

  • – Positive and Inspiring Climate Films from Around the World
  • – Children’s Eco Art Activities
  • – Green Community Group Networking
  • – Green Technology Zone
  • – Eco Fashion Zone
  • – Eco Yoga and Eco Chill Zone
  • – Riverside Walk and Eco Poetry

The day concludes with the fantastic Frome International Climate Film Festival Awards and the Post Awards Party with local award winning bands.
