Swing Dance Beginners Workshop

Our classes are fun and supportive, and are suitable for absolute beginners, as well as those wanting to recap what they have already learnt.  Please note that we rotate partners in the class.

1-2.30pm- Beginners: Suitable for absolute beginners, or those wanting to recap on what they’ve already learnt.  We’ll take you through some of the foundations of this partnered dance, the Lindy Hop, with plenty of time for practice. 1.5 hour workshop followed by 30 minutes practice time.  We will be covering ‘8 count’ footwork, so this will be a new workshop for those of you who attended our March Beginners.

2.30-3pm- Practice time.  We’ll play some swing music for you to dance with each other, to dance with us for feedback or it’s a chance to ask questions.
