15th Jun 2016 @ 20:45 - 22:45

Free

A celebration of song and music with: Nigel Shaw (UK), Hiroki Okana (Japan) and Demenic DeCicco (Canada)

This will be a unique and intimate concert from three acclaimed musicians who have been writing and performing around the world together for over 15 years. The performance will included songs from their various albums they’ve worked on together, including Bamboo Cedar Oak and Songs of Our Grandfathers and music from Domenic’s recent solo album, Seeds of Evergreen. They will be playing a wide range of traditional flutes from many cultures, drums, bouzouki, guitar, Cretan Laouto, keyboards and voice, making for a truly inspirational evening of music.

NIGEL SHAW is a renowned international composer living in the heart of Dartmoor’s wild hills. He has created over thirty albums of music, including ten solo recordings of beautiful and profound compositions.

HIROKI OKANO is one of the most respected ambient composers in Japan. He has travelled the world with his music of peace and unity, and carried the Hiroshima Peace Flame on a pilgrimage around the globe, including presenting it on the main stage at Glastonbury Festival.

DOMENIC DECICCO is an acclaimed multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer/producer who has travelled the world sharing his music as a solo artist and as co-founder/lead vocalist of the innovative acoustic roots band Praying for the Rain.
