RING OUT is a celebration of bell-founding and bell-ringing.
Not many people know that before they started producing Frome’s elegant street lights and lamp posts, the Cockey family were bell-founders.
At least 23 church towers in Somerset and 40 in Dorset and Wiltshire still include Cockey bells in their rings.
Listen out for bells ringing from towers near and far, celebrating the start of the 2023 Frome Festival.
