Play Wild Quarry

A wild (supported + playful) space to explore, cook, craft, create and feed children’s curiosity & imaginations….

* Suitable for 6-12 yrs
* Drop off. from 10 – 3
* £20 per day. Bookings for any day.
* Low income discounts always available
* Simple medical/ consent form must be completed before place allocated
* veggie/ vegan snacks provided. Children to bring packed lunch/ water bottle

Loose ideas as follows… although… the best made plans are often expanded sideways upside forwards by the children’s ideas!

Weds 31 May
– Games + Capture the Flag base den building
– cafe creation: lashing techniques, sign painting, menu planned / foraged/ experiments
– DIY Costume/ Mask Making beginnings

Thurs 1 June
– Outdoor Art & Natural Creations
– Kids Cafe / foraging/ fire lighting
– Giant Marble run building
– Recycled Planters + planting
– Mask/ costume making

Fri 2 June
– led by the children! Takeover Day!
– Musical instruments making
– More Games!
– Kids Cafe – sushi? Cocktails? Party?

Kit on site includes green wood working, fire lighting & cooking, hammocks + ropes, bug hunting…
circus play equipment + a small scaffolding rig, zip wire, swings and climbing trees
All staff are DBS checked, trained/ experienced in Forest School and/ or Adventure Play (yes this is a profession!)
