Oil Painting

This course is aimed at beginners and those with some experience of using oil paints who wish to improve their skills and gain confidence to tackle a wider range of subjects. You may be introduced to the following techniques and themes:
Cleaning and maintaining brushes, colour mixing, using a limited palette, using different brushes, blending, impasto, sgraffito, glazing and using different meduims. Landscapes and all of it’s elements including trees, seascapes, boats, still life, natural forms, flowers, figures and portraits. You will work from life and from photographs.
This is a 10 week course with Amanda Bee starting on Wednesday 02nd March 2016 (not through half terms), concession fee is £60.00 (if in receipt of a qualifying benefit).
