Continuing the recent renaissance of T.S. Eliot’s work, this performance will include professional actors Amanda Relph and Michael Hoskinson together with cellist Linda Stocks.
Eliot’s masterpiece was written over a number of years – the first poem in the 1930’s and three more during World War II. Often described as interlinked meditations, the universe, and the divine, the poems (in abridged form) will be spoken by four voices interspersed with original music.
Tea & coffee will be provided from 10.30 a.m. Please note this event was planned for last year’s Festival but was cancelled late in the day due to ill health so we are delighted to have another opportunity to bring this wonderful work to the Festival.
