Don’t worry-be happy An Introduction to mental well-being & mindfulness

This is a practical and experiential workshop for adults of all ages, which is also suitable for people supporting family members or friends who suffer from mental health issues.


You will be provided with a deeper understanding of anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. You will also be introduced to basic principles of mindfulness and do some practice in this.

We will be looking at:

  • importance of communication
  • mindfulness
  • healthy relationships
  • anxiety, depression & low self esteem
  • health related issues
  • self help, diet & exercise
  • when we need to seek professional help and what is available

The workshop will be facilitated by Ingrid Schultz.

Ingrid is an adult education tutor, a BACP registered & accredited counsellor with over 20 years clinical experience and a former mental health social worker.
