How old is this old bone and how could we find out? Historical artefacts that were once alive can be analysed using Carbon 14 dating techniques. Professor Elspeth Garman from the University of Oxford will show some artefacts that have been dated in Oxford over the last 30 years, including the Turin Shroud and Ötzi the Iceman.
