Artist Q&A: Lucinda Burgess in Conversation with David Chandler

Black Swan Arts are delighted to host this free talk hosted by local artist and broadcaster David Chandler.

Lucinda’s primary focus is on materiality – she is particularly drawn to its natural, often delicate and always changeable character. Each material is chosen for the degree to which it can transform; it may be highly reflective such as glass or graphite, or capable of undergoing radical visual transformation – for example, wood to charcoal or polished steel to rust.

This event accompanies the exhibition ‘On Repetition’, upstairs in the Long Gallery, 4 June – 3 July.
