The six week course will teach you the fundamentals of the pottery techniques of throwing, hand-building and glazing. Your time will be balanced between slab and hand-building, glazing and throwing. You will have the opportunity to be very hands on and make a range of items to your own design, such as bowls, mugs, jewellery, vessels, tiles etc, all leading towards you having a body of work that you have developed over the six weeks that expresses your creativity. The course is fun and therapeutic as well as sociable – make some lovely pieces and some new friends.
