Frome Festival

Save the date! Frome Festival returns in 2025 from 4th – 13th July.

The Frome Festival is a community/arts festival which takes place over 10 days every July.

From Friday 4th – Sunday 13th July, Frome will come alive with music, art and culture. With a multitude of events taking place across 10 days, the Festival aims to celebrate the best of Frome and bring top-name acts to the town. Events spill out into many places and spaces across the town – from venues and galleries to pubs and parks.

Frome Festival theme this year is Frome’s rich history in the textile industry. This history of creation links perfectly with the creative producers and artisans that make Frome so special today. Frome Festival 2025 will celebrate this creative spirit in all shapes and sizes, including fashion shows, visual arts projects, industrial history talks, artisan markets and so much more.

The community arts festival has been a popular fixture in the town since 2001 and aims to offer something for everyone, young and old, including different types of music, theatre, comedy, spoken word, art, dance, film, workshops, children’s events, and food or drink experiences. Expect a dash of Frome’s signature quirkiness!

Popular fixtures of the Festival include the Hidden Gardens trail, an Open Art Trail and the famous Festival Food Feast which showcases an amazing variety of international street food, along with free live music and entertainment.

At the heart of the Festival is a programme of free and low-cost events generously supported by the National Lottery Community Fund. With accessible activity taking place every day of the Festival and a busy programme for families and children, everyone can experience the joys of live music, art, literature and theatre.
