Dore & Rees auction sale rooms were established at Vicarage Street in 1868, and to this day, play host to fortnightly auctions. The sale rooms are contained within a large Gothic style building that resembles a former chapel from the exterior. Exposed structural roof beams on two floors provide a prominent visual feature to visiting clients.
They sell between 350 and 600 lots every two weeks, with a huge range of items from period English furniture, antiques and collectibles, vintage and retro, and modern interior decorative ware. They are one of the oldest and most well-renowned auction rooms in the Southwest, and continue to offer a unique auction experience.
