About the Workshop:

Seriously Playful is a clowning and improvisation process that returns us to a natural state of play, happiness and freedom. Through physical exploration and laughter, we challenge habitual and restrictive patterns — rediscovering the wonder of being alive and the joy of genuine connection.

What to Expect:

In this workshop, you’ll:
Reconnect with your body and instinct through playful movement
Explore clowning as a way to meet the unexpected with curiosity and humour
Rediscover your creative spark and the courage to be fully present
Experience the power of shared laughter, vulnerability and authentic expression
Clowning invites us to claim each moment and follow it — to recover the inner genius we’ve hidden away and to trust in the beautiful chaos of life and relationship.

If you’re feeling uninspired, flat or simply curious, Seriously Playful offers a space to recharge, laugh and reconnect with your creative vitality.

No previous experience in clowning or theatre is necessary — just a willingness to play.

Workshop outline:

10.30 – 12.30: Arrivals, connecting, warm up, improv games.
12.30 – 1.00: Break for snack, refreshment (bring something to save time or there are plenty shops nearby)
1.00 – 2.30: Improv exercises & devising, close.
