Get ready, get set, let’s walk! Our summer seems to be packed to the brim with festivals as we introduce Frome Walking Festival, back for another year, taking place from Friday 7 – Sunday 9 August. The festival, organised by Walkers are Welcome, offers a diverse programme of short walks, trails and longer rambles to suit all interests.
The Walking Festival is a brilliant way of exploring Frome and all it has to offer on foot, from its rich heritage and interesting historical features, to celebrating nature and even the pubs of Frome’s past. This year, the Walking Festival plays host to 19 walks, nine of which are free to attend.
Some walks need to be booked in advance. Walking Festival programmes are available from Frome Town Hall, Discover Frome Information Point in the Library and Victoria Park Community Café, or you can download a copy of this year’s Walking Festival programme here.
