Children, families and community groups are invited to join the first ever We Are Nature: Wildlife Parade on Sunday 12 July for a colourful celebration of nature, creativity and community.
Part of this year’s Frome Festival, the parade is organised by Frome Town Council and TiltFutures. It will bring the town centre to life with wildlife-inspired masks, music, movement and plenty of imagination.
Children can make a wildlife mask at home or at school before the event and learn a simple dance created by Mojo Moves. Then, together with their families and friends, they’ll join a joyful parade celebrating the amazing wildlife that shares our world.
Everyone taking part should meet outside St John’s Church at 1.30pm before the parade sets off through the town.
The event is all about celebrating nature, having fun and encouraging everyone to think about the small things we can do to look after the environment. It’s free, open to everyone and there’s no need to book.
