Whole town drone shot – Frome Connects

As part of the Frome Connects project, we have organised for the hugely talented photographer Chris Bailey to take a town wide drone photograph shot on Saturday the 30th May at around 12.30.

The idea is for as many residents, shop workers, pub goers and anyone else visiting the town at the time, heads out of their buildings and look skywards so that we can capture them for posterity. We obviously also invite anyone who doesn’t live in the town centre to head into town for the pic to be taken.
Think of it like looking for the solar eclipse, a collective lifting of heads to see beyond your everyday existence and help to create a photographic document of a moment captured in time.

We hope to be able to offer pre-ordered prints for sale after the event so you can play “Where’s Wally” trying to spot your friends, family, yourself, the dog and maybe even Frodo the town cat.
