Enjoy some flippin’ fun at Frome’s first ever pancake dash, a free, family-friendly event supported by Bonne Maman. Celebrate Valentine’s Day and Pancake Day with the ‘Stacks of Love’ event coming to the town centre on Saturday 14 February, 12pm – 3pm. Take part in a dash, plus themed crafts, games, Valentine’s face painting, refreshments, crêpes and sweet treats around the Boyle Cross. There will also be a Valentine’s-themed selfie frame for portraits of you and yours.
From 1pm, pancake dashes leave every five minutes from outside the Blue Boar to the Boyle Cross. Participants walk or run 100m and flip a fabric pancake at least three times using a heart-shaped pan. Each pancake wave has spaces for six participants, so booking is recommended to avoid crêpe-y disappointment. Local legend Cheryl Sprinkler from Mojo Moves will sound her klaxon and see each wave off, and finishers can claim a free crêpe with their medal.
‘Stacks of Love’ is guaranteed to be a fabulous family day out, whether you have a keen competitive streak and are keen to showcase your flipping skills, or would prefer to get crafty and enjoy a sweet treat whilst cheering on the dashers. It’s free and full of fun – we’d love to see as many of you there as possible!
Drop in from 12pm for activities, or book a dash slot between 1pm and 3pm at:
