An area of green space, established to mark the new millennium in the year 2000, the Millennium Green combines fantastic views with local artwork.
The site is a largely natural area, helping to support local wildlife, while also finding space for a community orchard with many interesting apple varieties.
The south-facing slopes here catch the sunshine when it comes, throughout the year, with melting frosts a treat for walkers and photographers on bright winter days.
Depending on which direction you’re coming from, Millennium Green either slopes its way up towards North Parade; or down towards Rodden Meadow.
