Iford Manor is a Grade 1 Italian style garden. The Iford valley has been occupied since Roman times and the manor house sits idyllically by the Frome river.
The garden at Iford Manor is famous for its tranquil beauty. It was also designed by an architect and landscape gardener called Harold Peto. He lived there from 1899 to 1933.
The unique garden which is characterised by steps, terraces and sculpture is open to the public from April to October.
Iford Manor also features walks along public footpaths, offering a complete escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
