The Ravens of Gallis Row + Burn the Midnight Oil

Folk-rock alchemy transforming leaden woes into sonic gold inspired by 60s/70s psychedelia, dirty blues and southern rock; drawing favourable comparisons to The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Steve Winwood and The Black Crowes (on a good day!)

The Ravens of Gallis Row (formerly Judas Goat & the Bellwether) are a five-piece band formed in 2024 in South West England, featuring Sara Vian (vocals/lyrics), Pete Vincent (acoustic guitar), Jim Scriven (bass), Sash Impey (lead guitar) and Stefan Steinhoff (drums).

Their songs sit somewhere between protest, parable and cinematic soundtrack with their debut single “There Is Always a Dawn” receiving recognition from the International Climate Film Festival songwriting competition and studio time at the Bert Jansch Studio in Frome.

They have since released three more singles and are honing their craft with performances at the International Climate Film Festival, Frome Festival, Bradford on Avon Music Festival and Lovington Festival alongside regular appearances at respected music pubs and grassroots venues across the South West.
