The Epic of Everest – screening with live prologue by the Tashi Lhunpo monks of Tibet
This extraordinary film documents the ill-fated attempt at the summit by Mallory and Irvine.
From December 1924 to October 1925, Captain John Noel promoted his film around Europe accompanied by Tibetan monks travelling in the west for the first time.
This screening recreates the original prologue by the monks.
