Musicke in the Ayre return to the Silk Mill with another delicious slice of the early Baroque, served by their trio of sopranos supported by archlute and baroque guitar, this time with a French flavour. Sacred motets by Charpentier will contrast with secular pieces by Lully and Lambert, written to entertain the Versailles Court.
