Elusive Eric by Jane Hughes – author talk

Jane Hughes will be talking with friend and author, Felice Hardy, about Jane’s new book, ‘Elusive Eric’.
An old box containing a few family mementos included a photograph of a handsome young man, named Eric, dated 1935. On its reverse Eric had written a message to his sister. Even though it was known that he was a close relative, no one knew anything about him. And so the quest began to discover his story – one of separation, bravery, recklessness – a gripping story of a young man’s determination to combat forces beyond his control.

A poignant story of forced adoption, the importance of home, belonging, and its generational repercussions.

The event is free but booking a place is essential – please book via this link.

This free author talk will take place in the Naval room, upstairs at the Archangel and is organised by the Frome Writers Collective.
