A walk through ancient woodland to discover an impressive Beaver Dam

Description:

After an absence of hundreds of years, wild Beavers have recently established territories locally. From an un-intrusive distance we will view one of their impressive dams and discuss why they are called Ecosystem Engineers – what benefits do they bring, and how can conflicts be managed?

This loop takes us through the ancient woodland of Great Bradley Wood to one of the sources of the River Frome.

Unless there are drought conditions, Wellies essential!!
