NOTE: Change of date from printed brochure! Event 1119 previously listed as 11th, but Far-Cue will take place on FRI 10 JULY (The Dooks are on the 11th)
Emerging from a pile of dirty ashtrays and crushed beer cans in 1996, Far-Cue set out to make gigs in their hometown fun again. Originally planning to stay together for just a month, they find themselves still damaging eardrums and demolishing stages some 30 years later.
Having now played thousands of gigs, from sweat-soaked pubs to sold-out nights at the Cheese and Grain, they’ve also appeared at Glastonbury several times and supported bands like Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, Subhumans and The Damned.
The band have self-released 8 albums, 2 EPs and 2 live albums, and despite line-up changes, break-ups, arrests, and a short hiatus, they have stayed loud, fast, and very punk rock.
Now celebrating 30-years of noise, Far-Cue are still serious about not being serious.
This event is part of Frome Festival.
