Join us on an atmospheric tour by candlelight around our church, for an immersive experience of meditation, light, music and stories that this ancient church has to share with us. At the end of the evening, you are invited to join the choir for compline - a short service of quietness and reflection.

Festival Choral Evensong

Enjoy the glories of a traditional Choral Evensong in the magnificent Parish Church of St John the Baptist. Sung by the choir of St John’s, this evensong will include music by Tallis and his contemporaries to complement Frome Festival’s theme of our town’s rich heritage in the textile industry.

Enjoy an introduction to the art of bell ringing, including a visit to St  John's ringing chamber. Discover how to ring the bells, hear of their history, and have a go with a set of hand bells. All ages from 10 years up - under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
