RYE Bakery Café

The RYE Café opened in 2017 in a converted church, tucked away behind the cobbles of Catherine Hill. As a young family returning to Frome, we designed the space with family and community at its heart.

RYE Café is a place for weekend brunches, midweek lunches and after-school pick-me-ups, with a play area for children, as well as a Rest Nest for those wanting a quieter space.

We serve simple food made with seasonal, quality produce from farmers who share our values. As a working bakery, our core offering is delicious things on bread, hot sandwiches, filled rolls, focaccias and toasties. For lighter options, there are seasonal salads and soups, alongside hot stews and savoury pastries for a heartier lunch. There are always vegan and vegetarian options, and most dietary requirements can be catered for.

RYE Café is open Tuesday – Sunday and available for large bookings, community events and meet-ups, with catering also available from the kitchen.
