Frome’s annual Walking Festival offers a diverse weekend programme of guided walks, trails and activities for young and old alike. Explore Frome’s history and heritage and the beautiful surrounding countryside in walks ranging from easy afternoon strolls to longer riverside rambles.

The Walking Festival returns for 2026 from Friday 7th – Sunday 9th August.

The 2026 programme includes 19 walks over 3 days, centred around history, nature, the countryside and even pubs! 9 of the walks are free.

Before the next walking festival why not get out and explore in and around our beautiful town with one of our walks which you can download from our town walks page.
