Trio Paradis: The Music of Trees

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café open from c12.45pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes and listen to live music. It’s c£3.50 for a drink and a cake.

September’s music is inspired by trees and forests, with music by Sibelius (Birch and Fir trees, among others), Massenet (Lime Trees) and a forest scene from a Rimsky-Korsakov opera.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance is by donation. An RSVP via our website is appreciated, but you can just turn up – maybe bring a cushion for the pew!
