Trio Paradis: By the Fireside

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café open from c12.45pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes and listen to live music.

December’s programme is a collection of seasonal music with a warming feel: some inspired by fire itself, such as De Falla’s Ritual Firedance, alongside contrasting lullabies and other beautiful melodies to calm the spirits. Music by Vivaldi, Fauré, Gladys Rich and others.

Concerts last c45mins and entrance is by donation. An RSVP via our website is appreciated, but you can just turn up – maybe bring a cushion for the pew!
