Poster art in Britain during the 1920’s and 30’s was a thriving industry enabled by enlightened clients such as Shell-Mex, The London Underground and the four railway companies. Dr Graham Twemlow’s talk will cover the work of poster artists such as Paul Nash, E McKnight Kauffer, Frank Newbould and Tom Purvis.
