Professor Keith Barnham – an All-Renewable Electricity Supply for Frome

Emeritus Professor of Physics at Imperial College London, Prof. Keith Barnham considers how Frome could become the first UK town with an all-renewable electricity supply from wind and solar power. The software GIFTS (Get It From The Sun) compares solar and wind supply with grid demand and calculates the anaerobic digestion required to deliver secure electricity every hour of the year.
