Join us for a fun and creative workshop where you’ll make your very own flower print tote bag.
Using flowers grown in Mary Baily Playing Field, we’ll explore the craft of tataki zome (flower pounding) which is the Japanese art of pressing flowers and leaves onto fabric.
No experience is needed, we’ll provide everything you need.
Perfect for families, this workshop is a chance to get creative, learn about plants, and try a traditional craft.
Please note: This workshop involves using a hammer and is not suitable for very young children.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
We’ll meet at the flower bed next to the basketball court. If the weather is unsuitable, an alternative location will be rearranged.
