World class choral music in Mells!

Tenebrae Associate Artists are coming to St Andrew’s Church in Mells on 19th July 2026, 6.30pm, for an evening of choral music that celebrates music inspired by love. Join the country’s next generation of talented singers for a programme of both sacred and secular music, conducted by the award-winning Artistic Director of the Tenebrae Choir, Nigel Short. Music in Country Churches was set up in 1989 to organise concerts of exceptional music in rural churches and is particularly keen to give concert opportunities to young and emerging performers. Following each concert, a donation is made to the church to help with maintaining the building and carrying out essential repairs. Tickets cost £20 (General Admission, first-come-first-seated). Wheelchair user and carer/companion (two-for-one) tickets are also available. Under 18s go free (must be accompanied by an adult). This promises to be a not-to-be-missed concert!
