Gala Organ Recital by Peter King

Peter King, organist emeritus at Bath Abbey, launches Christ Church’s Festival programme with an exciting and varied programme. Featuring Respighi’s The Birds, pastoral Bach, Mendelssohn’s Sonata No 4, romantic Schumann and much more. This concert also includes work by distinguished Newcastle musician William Rea (1827-1903) to celebrate the forthcoming bicentenary of his birth. Event sponsored by Gavin Rea.
