Free girls’ skate sessions
Skateboarding, longboard and surfskate sessions for girls and young women aged 10–18, delivered by Soulful Skate Co. in partnership with Frome Town Council.
These relaxed, beginner-friendly sessions are designed to help you build confidence, learn new skills and have fun in a supportive environment. No experience is needed.
We’ll cover the basics of balance, pushing, stopping, turning and moving around safely. Depending on the group, we may also explore gentle skatepark skills using the flatter, safer areas of the park. If you have skated before there will be other more advanced options.
Boards, helmets and pads can be provided. Please let us know what you need when booking.
Advance booking is required so we can collect participant details, emergency contact information, equipment needs and waiver/permission information before the session.
Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in, trainers, and bring water. All participants must wear a helmet to take part.
These sessions take place outdoors and may be adapted, postponed or cancelled if the weather or skatepark conditions are unsafe.
