Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan – piano, Ruth O’Shea – violin & Linda Stocks – cello) play a Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month (Feb-Jun & Aug-Dec) at 1.15pm at Christ Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café open from c12.45pm where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes and listen to live music.
August’s concert is for all the family and includes music about trains – Little Train of the Caipira, the Orient Express, Chattanooga Choo-Choo…, a helicopter, jet plane, bicycle – and several other modes of transport. Bring a bicycle bell or a shaker if you’d like to join in! Our violinist for this month’s concerts is Sara Stagg.
Concerts last c45mins and entrance is by donation. An RSVP via our website is appreciated, but you can just turn up – maybe bring a cushion for the pew!
