Family Bike Ride and Picnic

Join us on a beautiful 4km/2.5mile flat and traffic free route alongside the river. Starting from the Canoe Club we’ll ride alongside Welshmill Woods, through Weylands and on to Whatcombe Fields. We’ll then head back along the same path to finish at Welshmill play park. The route we’ll be following has been created by volunteers at Frome’s Missing Links and will eventuallly link up to the traffic free Colliers Way near Great Elm. Check out our route here.

This ride is suitable for all abilities and is aimed at adults wanting to build confidence riding with their young children whether they’re in bike seats or trailers, or starting to ride their own bikes. Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult. It is free to take part but numbers are limited so please book your free place.
