Fofoulah

Fofoulah blend the propulsive rhythms of Senegalese sabar drums with dub basslines, sci-fi synths and raw guitars. This London-based quintet fuses Wolof vocals, trance-like grooves and glitchy electronics into something both earthy and futurist. Veterans of WOMAD, Cambridge Folk Festival and Celtic Connections, Fofoulah deliver intense, hypnotic performances that blur borders and ignite dancefloors.
