West Valley Guitars services include offering hand made, custom built guitars, professional repairs and guitar building courses.

Josh builds high end electric guitars and has built guitars for IDLES, The Vaccines, Noah and the Whale and Alberta Cross as well as many non professional clients.

Josh also offers a professional repairs and maintenance service and looks after guitars for the Stranglers, The The, IDLES, Super Grass, Siouxsie and the Banshees and Massive Attack. Finally, he offers courses in guitar maintenance and guitar building. Josh has been teaching guitar building for 4 years, having started his teaching journey at Crimson guitars (Europe’s largest guitar building school). He teaches everything from setups to rewiring to refrets, all the way up to full guitar builds from scratch. Josh has taught over 100 students how to look after or build guitars including professional guitar techs such as Brian May and Florence and the Machines tech.
