Asterion & Co.

Asterion & Co. is based at The Old Vicarage in Leigh-on-Mendip, just 10 minutes’ drive west of Frome, and offers a year-round programme of small-group workshops and courses rooted in Heritage-Inspired Learning. Bringing together gardening, traditional craft, art and food, each session is designed to revive practical skills and knowledge while connecting them to contemporary life.

Workshops are led by experienced practitioners and take place across the house and garden, with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, attention to detail and doing things well. Group sizes are intentionally kept small to allow for individual guidance and a more considered pace.

Alongside the practical elements, there is a strong focus on hospitality and shared experience. Guests spend time together over a seated lunch and afternoon tea, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment that encourages conversation, connection and a sense of camaraderie.

Set within a reimagined 16th-century farmhouse and its surrounding garden, Asterion & Co. offers an opportunity to step away from the everyday and spend time learning, making and engaging with place in a meaningful way.
