The Lady’s Boudoir: underclothes and accessories.

‘The Lady’s Boudoir’ conjures up an image of a private, glamorous space, where items of intimate apparel; knickers, corsets, petticoats, stockings, lotions and lingerie, ribbons and lace, potions and powders would be used by ladies of means to polish and perfect the ideal of beauty of the age. Of course, it was not always so – especially for the working woman of Frome.

The museum is open:

Tuesdays – Saturdays, 11am – 3pm
and Frome Independent Market Sundays

Entrance to the galleries and to the exhibition is free. A donation is appreciated.
